Ramsay Liem

Professor Liem's research interests cover a variety of areas, including: social processes and psychological well-being (e.g., economic change, unemployment and mental health); cultural psychology (e.g., ethnic identity of Asian Americans, culture and emotions); culture and mental health; and human rights and mental health. His principle current interest is memories and legacies of historical trauma, specifically Korean American memories of the Korean War.
